So You’re Going to FanFest… Now What?

We are two weeks out from the Las Vegas FanFest 2018, and fans are anxiously awaiting the start. There promises to be a lot of fun to be had over the weekend. Square Enix recently published the schedule for the stage events on the Lodestone, but that’s not the only thing that will be happening. If you didn’t end up getting one of the coveted passes to the event but will be in the Vegas area, there are still events for you to enjoy!

A handful of people banded together to arrange a free Stream viewing party at the Bally’s SkyView Room 3 on Friday. You can find more information at the event website.

Later that night, the Limit Break Radio crew will be hosting a massive FFXIV Community after-party at the Luxor’s E-Sports arena. There will be many community members to hang out with, as well as a VIP area where you can talk with a host of Content Creators but you will need to RSVP ASAP as event pass sales end on Nov 5th!

If you won’t be in the Las Vegas area, SE will be live-streaming the events (minus the concerts) on their Twitch channel.

As an attendee of the 2016 FanFest, the official event is a lot of fun. The SE Community team works very hard to put on these events for us, and they do a good job. However the most fun I had during my time at FanFest was meeting other players, striking up conversations with new people about this game that I love, and making new friends. Enjoy your time out there, make tons of new memories, and have fun!

Episode 75 – FFXIV Finds a Way

Even with Patch 4.36 coming in a few days, and a full patch scheduled to arrive next month, the lack of new content has been taking its toll on the FFXIV community, and we talk about what we have been doing to try and keep from getting sick or bored of the game. Seyrr talks about the history of the Monk class as it relates to FFXIV and Final Fantasy in general, and Chille plots to take over all the podcasts! Enjoy!
